Tatooine
The Phantom Menace is the most anticipated movie for 1999, which, critics say, will surpass Titanic's 600 Billion dollar grossing. That's a lot of fans and money :) So here I am to let you know the latest news on the movies.
The list of characters has already been released, but here it is for you again;
*Natalie Portman as the young queen of Naboo, Padme Amidala.--who we know to be Luke and Leia's mother.
*Jake Lloyd as Anakin Skywalker, AKA Darth Vader.
*Ewan McGregor as the young Obi-Wan (Ben) Kenobi.
*Liam Neeson as the Jedi Master who trained Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon Jinn.
*A fully computer generated "sidekick" of Qui-Gon, Jar Jar Binks. He's the Chewie of this movie :)
*A young Yoda will serve on the Jedi Counsel along side Samuel L. Jackson's character, Mace Windu.
*Martial arts expert, Ray Parks plays Darth Maul. The tattooed Dark Lord, who is an apprentice to Darth Sidious. Sidious is the "Phantom Menace"--no one knows about him, except the audience (us).

Although you will find rumors galore here .. I promise there are no spoilers , so read on. Now that the two minute trailer is no longer in the movies, what next? The next one! I have read that there will be a 3 and a half to a 4 minute trailer. Now this isnt a rumor. There are rumors out there which say they are longer; anywhere up to five minutes, which is impossible, marketing wise. I believe there will be a shorter one, no more than 4 minutes. Lucasfilm will back that one up! So hang on till March when the new trailer comes out.

Hasbro's website has finally updated their complete product list and added
release dates to some of their 1999 toys.

And dont forget to get your Mace Windu if you haven't yet. If you really want this figure and you're willing to pay a lot, then check out EBay.com and try your luck at a STAR WARS auction. The Battle Droid Episode 1 figure (which is very cool) is out, although I got it before anyone knew about, but you can check out EBay.com or Toy's R Us.
